The cricket rivalry between Pakistan and Afghanistan is fast turning out to be one of the most fierce rivalries in the game. With the political tension between the two countries increasing, the rivalry has been shaping up differently in recent times. The case was the same a few years ago when Pakistan Cricket Board helped the Afghanistan players nurture.
However, things soon changed when India extended a helping hand to Afghanistan and the latter accepted it gladly. Since then, the relation between Afghanistan and Pakistan have deteriorated. And a glimpse of the same was seen outside the stadium in Leeds where Afghanistan and Pakistan are involved in the World Cup clash.
Fans from both the nations were involved in a nasty brawl just outside the stadium. Fortunately before anyone could suffer any serious injury, the fight was stopped.
Here are a couple of clips of the same:

Pakistan need to win against Afghanistan to keep their slim semifinal hopes alive. The Men in Green have joined the semifinal race after winning their last two games. They were looking all out of the competition after losing to India in their fifth game that left them with just three points. However, wins against South Africa and New Zealand have put them in a good spot.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, have lost all of their seven games and are out of the semifinal race. However, they are giving it their all in the ongoing game. A win against bitter rivals Pakistan will be a good way to sign out of the tournament for them. A win for Afghanistan will also jeopardise Pakistan’s semifinal plans.
