Team India skipper Virat Kohli has rated India’s much-talked about away jersey for the ongoing World Cup. Keeping up with the ICC rules where they said that the teams need to have two sets of jerseys for televised ICC tournaments, India launched their second kit on Friday. The new jersey is completely orange from the back side and has the same colour on its side while the traditional blue colour is at the front.
India will wear the kit for the first against England on Sunday at Edgbaston. With the hosts also wearing blue-coloured jersey, India had to opt for a different colour as per the ICC rules. The Men in Blue will be hoping that the new jersey bring luck for them and help them extend their stunning start to the World Cup.

The Virat Kohli-led side is currently at the second position in the points table and are yet to lose any game. With 11 points from 6 games, they are well on their way to the semifinal. The two-timer winners now need just one more point from their remaining three league games to seal a last four berth.
India would be looking to seal their semifinal spot against England on Sunday. While India are on a winning spree in the tournament, England are in all sorts of trouble after losing two in a row. With the momentum on their side, India will be the favourites to win the game. And before the much-awaited clash, Kohli spoke about the new jersey which has drawn mixed reactions from the fans.
The India star said that he likes the new kit and gave it 8 out of ten, saying:
“I quite like the kit. It’s an 8/10 for me, it’s a good fit, it’s good for one game, a smart kit. Don’t think we want to change it for all matches because blue is our colour.
