For a young person, graduating high school is a thrilling event. It signals the point when individuals start to go off to college and begin to live out on their own. For some people, however, the decision isn’t so simple and can actually be a bit overwhelming.
One graduating senior, Antoinette Love, has a difficult road ahead when it comes to which college she wants to attend! The brilliant student has been accepted to an incredible 115 colleges, and has been given more than $3.7 million in scholarship money to boot.
“I started applying in September, and just kept applying and applying until my tiny mailbox at home was suddenly overflowing with letter after letter and dozens of scholarship offers,” the New Orleans, Louisiana native told Fox 8 Live.
Here’s Antoinette and her parents, Yolanda and Anthony, as they pose in front of one of many acceptance letters, in a photo shared on Facebook by her high school, International High School of New Orleans:

With a 3.7 GPA and involvement in a plethora of extracurricular activities, including the anime club and the video game club, it’s no shock that her applications were top-tier and led to her receiving so much money. She also is a member of the National Honor Society, the English Honor Society and Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society. Still, the stunning volume of the acceptance comes as a shock to the teen.
“At first I didn’t think I was going to get this many, but then they just kept coming and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’” Love told CNN.
You would think that Love probably doesn’t have a whole lot of time to do anything else, but she also somehow manages to work a part-time job as well as help take care of her four younger siblings.
Although she hasn’t yet made her final decision on which she university she will attend in the fall, some of the leading options include Louisiana State University, Valparaiso University, University of North Texas, Fisk University, Randolph University, Brandeis University and Mississippi State University. Wherever she goes, she plans to begin studying elementary education and will one day become a teacher leading the next generation of superstar students.
“I like influencing others to be good and be their best,” she said.
