Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have always created magic on screen. Whether their first film together, Bachna Ae Haseenon, or Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani or their last release Tamasha, their pairing has always been a delight to watch. And so, when we were treated to a video by Deepika herself today, we couldn’t help but sing and dance along. This was a clip that featured none other than the actress herself along with her Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani co-star Ranbir dancing away to the tunes of Balam Pichkari, the popular holi song from the film. The actress shared it to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the film.
What we couldn’t get over was the enthusiastic dance moves by Ranbir and Deepika and Ranveer Singh cheering in the background. If you don’t catch it the first time, watch the video again and you will surely hear the distinct, and peculiar at that, shout outs of Ranveer Singh who is presumably sitting somewhere in the background.
Have a look at the video here:
So much fun, right? We can’t believe it’s been 6 years since the film’s release already. Apart from that, it’s totally heartening to see that atleast the ex-lovers are not holding any grudges against each other anymore and are courteous towards each other again.
On the work front, Deppika is currently filming for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhappaak which also stars Vikrant Massey. Ranveer Singh is ready with his squad for the Kabir Khan directorial ’83 which is a biopic on the legendry cricketer Kapil Dev. The team too has started shooting for the film which will revolve around India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has begun the Varanasi schedule of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which also stars the actor’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Ahead of the schedule, Ranbir and Alia even visited a temple and took blessings for a smooth journey ahead.
