One hurt, two displaced in one-alarm Union City garage fire

UNION CITY — Investigators are working to find the cause of a single-alarm garage fire, authorities said Sunday.

Shortly after 7:45 p.m., Alameda County Fire Department firefighters responded to a report of a working fire at a home in the 2700 block of Condor Court.

Arriving crews pushed back against smoke and flames in the living space of the home and managed to extinguish it within minutes. The home’s attached garage suffered some damage.

Two adults living at the home were evaluated for possible injury and will be displaced for some time, whille one resident was treated for minor injury at the scene and released.

No damage estimate was immediately available Sunday night.
