California city clerk says the office’s Twitter page inadvertently ‘liked’ political tweets, including from President Trump

Fullerton City Clerk Lucinda Williams said on Thursday, June 27, she’s not sure how her office’s Twitter page “liked” several political tweets during the first Democratic presidential debate the previous night.

She said she has updated the security and password for the office’s Twitter account and “unliked” the tweets.

During the debate, the account “liked” tweets by President Donald Trump, Democratic strategist Paul Begala and several from Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld.

Williams discovered the unsanctioned likes the following morning.
