Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt visit a temple ahead of the film’s Varanasi schedule – view pic

Earlier on Thursday, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt left for Varanasi to begin the next schedule of their film Brahmastra. The couple was spotted by the paparazzi at the Mumbai and they were dressed for the best. The Kapoor lad was seen wearing a grey tracksuit and white t-shirt whereas Alia wore an easy-breezy blue dress. As soon as they reached Varanasi, the head over heels in love couple posed for pictures inside a temple. In the pictures that are now viral on social media, RK can be seen in an all black ensemble while his ladylove Alia looks pretty in a white kurta. They are about to begin the shoot for the next schedule of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra over there.

A source had informed Bombay Times about the schedule which is going to be 20 days long. “Cameras for Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy starrer film are set to roll at the end of this month in the city, preparations for which have already begun. During their 20-day schedule, the film will be mostly canned at the Ramnagar Fort and parts of it inside Chet Singh Fort in Varanasi, for security reasons. The film s sets are already under preparation inside the Ramnagar Fort. Ranbir, Alia and Mouni are expected to shoot for the film in Varanasi,” the source had said.

From the Varanasi recce of Brahmastra, director Ayan Mukerji had given us glimpses of the location, the hotel he was staying in and the way he was chilling at the place. Now, it is Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s turn take the internet by storm with their breathtaking and adorable images from the sets of their movie.

Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra is super-hero fantasy film which will be made in three parts. The first part features Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna in key roles. The movie was initially set for Christmas 2019 but has been pushed to Summer 2020.

Announcing the same, the filmmaker had posted on Instagram, “In the past week, I have learnt all the teams working on the movie, led by my VFX teams, need more time in order to get the VFX right, to get the sound right and eventually the movie right. With that in mind, we are moving away from Christmas 2019 release as our goal for the release of the movie. Working towards the goal that could affect the most important goal- which is to create the best possible movie experience that Brahmastra can be. Our release is now slated for Summer 2020 but we will announce this officially once we are officially certain of the date.”
